That’s a really tough question. I really love understanding animals and how they interact with their environment and how the environment influences them. This is what a biologist does, however, I like to do this with fossil animals. It’s very challenging and is often like trying to be a detective, using rocks as clues.

      Hi,

I love solving puzzles. The world is the biggest and best puzzle there is. So my favourite part of science is when I am solving a problem and learning something new. I love discovering things!

I really enjoy learning new things so science not only helps me do this but lets me get involved in discovering the new things!

Tricky – so I think most scientists love that they get to discover new and exciting things about the world around us, we always want to know more and learn more and discover more, it’s a real buzz when we discover things!

But for me I also like putting those discoveries to good use, working out how I can better protect wildlife and working with people to help them understand how they can look after the environment better. 🙂
