      Hi Kai,

Yes! In my department I have a lab which I conduct all my experiments in. I do all my dissection work as well as any experiment set up in a clean environment, in order to limit the amount of bacteria that could contaminate my experiments.

We need lots of specalised cabinets called fume hoods, which suck the smell of rotting animals outside, so the whole department doesn’t smell.
Unfortunately, these sometime stop working and in my last lab the smell got out into the corridor and many many many people complained!

      Hi,

I do all of my work on computers. Other people collected the DNA that I work on so I just use computers to find out the hidden information in the DNA. I do have to share the computers that I use with other people though 🙁

I don’t have a lab, the science experiments I was doing last year were always done outside in nature learning about how and why and what animals do what they do in the wild. Sometimes people do experiments in labs after they have studied the animals in the wild to try and work out exactly why what they saw in the wild was happening, but last year the only things I did indoors were writing up my findings and looking more closely at the information I had collected and I did that in a room that was more like a library than a lab.

Nope! I have an office but my current experiments are all done in the homes of the people who own the dogs I am studying!
