• Question: What's your favourite sport?

      My favorite sport is hockey. I play right wing and tend to fall over a lot which means my knees are always covered in cuts from the astroturf!
      I also really enjoy football and squash.

      Hi,

      I don’t really play any sports, but I like to watch Ice Hockey. My team is the San Jose Sharks because that is where I am from!

      I do orienteering – which is a really great sport if you like running cross country or long distances, aren’t very good at catching (I’m awful!) or don’t really like team sports all that much. Basically you run with a map and a compass and have to find your way round a set of checkpoints. The fastest person round the course wins – so it pays to be a good map reader and a good runner. For me it makes running exciting!

      I used to be in the North West Junior Orienteering Squad, so I used to spend lots of my weekends running around the Lake District to train – but I’m too old now 🙁

      If you include dancing as a sport then swing dancing! But otherwise football, basketball and golf!
