What would you like to know?

This eclipse was caused by the moon moving in front of the sun as it orbits the earth. The moon covers the face of the sun, even though the sun is 400 times bigger than the moon. This is because, by a weird quirk, the sun is 400 times further away that the sun!

      This webpage nails it: http://www.astro.keele.ac.uk/workx/eclipses/Eclipses.html

      Hi,

Thomas’ answer covers most of it, but I just want to add that they are super awesome and special. Did you guys talk about it in school?
