Yes – a sharks tooth can turn into a fossil! If you look on my bio page you will see lots of different types of fossils including fossil poo! (known as a coprolite). Any part of an animal that turns to stone is a fossil. 😀

      Hi,

A shark’s tooth isn’t a fossil, but it could become a fossil. Because the tooth is hard if it get covered by silt at the bottom of the ocean it has a chance of becoming a fossil. Isn’t that cool?
